Getting ready to hit the bars and celebrate America’s favorite Mexican holiday? Why bother when you can party at home with these awesome cocktails from Tequila Avion! Let’s start off with the Sunrise with Maria:

Ingredients:

2 oz. Avión Reposado

1 oz. agave nectar

1 oz. POM juice

.50 oz. fresh lime juice

5-8 thyme sprigs

Directions:

Combine all. Shake until cold. Pour over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with 1 thyme leave from the shake.

Jalisco Buck
Jalisco Buck

Ingredients:

2 oz. Av Avión ion Silver

.75 oz. Ginger syrup

.50 oz. Fresh lemon

1 oz. Pineapple

Angostura bitters

Club Soda to top

Directions:

Combine all. Shake hard until cold. Pour over fresh ice into a rocks glass and garnish with peel.

Blood Orange Margarita A
Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients:

.5 oz. Avión Silver

.75 oz. fresh blood orange juice

.5 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice

.75 oz. agave nectar

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients with ice. Shake and strain. Serve over fresh ice and garnish with an orange twist.

Picante Pina

Ingredients:

2 oz. Spicy Avion Silver (scrape the seeds and membranes of 2 jalapenos into one bottle of Avion Silver. When desired spiciness is achieved, strain and rebottle)

4 x 1” pineapple chunks

0.75 oz. fresh lime juice

0.5 oz. agave nectar

Directions:

Muddle pineapple, add remaining ingredients and shake. Strain and pour into rocks glass with cilantro salt rim (blend 1 cup of cilantro with 1 cup of kosher salt until incorporated).

Sandia Fresca

Ingredients:

2 oz. Avion Reposado

1 oz. fresh watermelon juice

0.75 oz. lime juice

0.5 oz. agave nectar

Spiced Rim: 1 part kosher salt, 1 part superfine sugar, and ½ part cayenne.

Directions:

Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a cocktail glass with a spiced rim.

AvionMichelada
Avion Michelada

Ingredients:

1 oz. Avion Silver

1 oz. fresh lime juice

.25 oz. agave nectar

5-6 dashes Mexican hot sauce

Directions:

Shake all ingredients and strain into a beer glass with a half-salt rim and ice. Top up with Mexican lager beer and stir. Serve with the remainder of the beer on the side.
